What is your payment policy ?

The Alma Center’s fees are consistent with the usual and customary standards in our community. We are out of network with insurance providers. We are committed to helping you receive the quality care and the insurance coverage you deserve. We will advocate for your out of network coverage. If you have coverage, you will be responsible for your deductible and coinsurance. During the intake process our staff will provide support in verifying your plans benefit package and will complete all necessary paperwork, pre-authorization and required case reviews. Self-pay options are also available.

What should I look for in a treatment program ?

We believe that is important to ask the right questions about a treatment program before you make a decision. The National Eating Disorders Association publishes questions that you should ask. (Nationaleatingdisorders.org). We welcome discussing these questions with you.

What level of treatment do you provide ?

Our professional staff will help determine what level of care is appropriate. The Alma Center provides two levels of care. The intensive outpatient treatment program provides a minimum of nine hours weekly and our Outpatient Program provides a minimum of one hour weekly. Our program in tailored to your individual needs.

How do I know if I need treatment ?

It’s important to receive a formal evaluation by one of our trained staff prior to diagnosing yourself or a loved one with an eating disorder. However, our online self-assessment can provide a starting point as to whether an eating disorder is present. Early interventions can impact outcomes.

The specialized treatment approach of individual, group, nutritional, neurotherapy, and expressive therapies treat each individual’s own unique set of causes, symptoms and health risks. The path to wellness often extends beyond the individual. Alma also provides support for parents, caregivers, and all family members.
